The 750 on BFL

Sale price Price $26.00 Regular price

The 750 is a rustic brown with black speckles. It gets it's name from the tank engine, Savannah & Atlanta no. 750, it is on display at the Southeastern Railway Museum.

Let's talk about this base: is a 4 ply light fingering weight yarn made of 75% superwash Blue Faced Leicester and 25% nylon. Each skein contains 464 yards/100 grams. BFL is known for being super tough but that doesn’t stop it from being soft. It is a lighter fingering weight yarn with beautiful stitch definition and it is amazingly tough! This would be ideal for socks, mittens or anything that will get a lot of wear. Just because it’s tough doesn’t mean it would not be nice against your bare skin.

Each skein of hand-dyed yarn will be unique. If you are planning to use more than one skein for a project it is best to alternate between 2 skeins every few rows

This is a new staple colorway for my shop so feel free to message me if you need more skeins & I will be happy make a custom order listing! KnitintheZone@gmail.com
